ACD Operations Lead

The jobholder will be integrated within the Airbus Flight Hours Services (FHS) Teams. Within Airbus FHS, the jobholder will report Functionally and Operationally to FHS Repair Ordering Integration Manager in Kuala Lumpur. The Aircraft Configuration Data (ACD) Operations Lead is responsible for the operational deliverables of the ACD Operations Team by focusing on ACD creation activity, Good Receipt Blockage (GRB), Abnormal status in Management Information System (MIS), and monitoring subcontractor performance. He/She oversees the ACD activities on daily set-up, operations, performances, and provides guidance, structure, and support to the team members. Furthermore, the jobholder acts as the primary interface to cross-functional department heads, advocating for operational improvements and mitigating external customer challenges  Responsibilities Closely monitor daily operational backlogs for Aircraft Configuration Data (ACD) and Goods Receipt Blockage (GRB) activities, implementing swift mitigation actions to consistently maintain backlog volumes within agreed company thresholds.  Accountable for all operational deliverables of Aircraft Configuration Data (ACD) and Good Receipt Blockage (GRB) management within the Repair Ordering Scope. This includes ensuring the on-time ACD creation within 24 hours for unserviceable and serviceable component returned to FHS Pools (Singapore, Paris, London, Miami and Hong Kong) Manage the Goods Receipt Blockage for the designated warehouse pools by identifying, analyzing, and resolving blockages. Drive the team to solve or respond to each blockage within 24 hours and establish permanent solutions to eliminate recurrent GRBs  Accountable for ensuring the quality of work performed by sub-contractors complies with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Continuously analyze their quality of work, communicate changes, and follow up on the effectiveness of mitigation plans.  Manage team members' leaves, back-up systems, and hybrid working arrangements to ensure continuous operational stability. Monitor individual and team performance, balancing the workload, and addressing difficulties through structured guidance and coaching.  Manage and remain accountable for MIS Data Accuracy based on customer documentation. Coordinate the analysis of complex engineering topics to resolve blockages driven by KARDEX and Interchangeability issues.  Partner and interface directly with cross-functional department leaders to articulate operational challenges regarding  Aircraft Configuration Data (ACD) and Receipt Blockages (GRB)  caused by external customers. Proactively propose, persuade, and influence stakeholders to adopt and support joint improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.  Collaborate closely with the ACD Support Specialist to evaluate system non-conformities, technical bottlenecks, and training gaps, while driving performance improvement plans and cross-departmental initiatives Support the onboarding and integration of newcomers, ensuring their training readiness, feeling of belonging, and strong alignment with Airbus Values.  Act as backup for the ACD Support Specialist to ensure smooth operations and resolving blockages Lead, contribute to, and support specific continuous improvement projects and strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing ACD activities and permanently eliminating Goods Receipt Blockages (GRB) Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company Requirement Graduate Degree, or a relevant experience of 5 years in case of a graduate diploma Minimum 3 years of working experience within the aviation industry Excellent spoken and written English level Proficient with Microsoft Office Skills or Google Applications/Workspace Structured reporting, organizational rigor, and the ability to work with full autonomy Familiarity with Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Transport, and Supply Chain domains at an airline or an MRO Basic knowledge
