AECOM is seeking an Electrical Department Manager to lead and grow our Electrical Engineering team in the Kitchener/London region . This is a visible leadership role for a licensed electrical engineer who wants to build a stronger team, guide high-quality delivery, and shape the next stage of AECOM's electrical practice in Southwestern Ontario. This position is to fill an existing position within the team. The successful candidate will bring technical credibility, people leadership, client focus, and practice-building experience. You will lead multidisciplinary electrical delivery across buildings and infrastructure markets while connecting with AECOM’s broader national and global technical network. Why AECOM? Once You Are Here: Your role will combine people leadership, technical oversight, client engagement, and practice growth. You will: Lead, mentor, and develop electrical engineers, designers, and technical staff while fostering a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture. Set direction for staffing, workload planning, technical capability, quality, and succession readiness. Serve as a senior technical leader on selected projects, providing design guidance, engineering judgment, quality review, and practical problem-solving. Guide electrical design delivery across multiple sectors, including buildings, institutions, commercial and industrial facilities, water and wastewater, transportation, sustainability, and related infrastructure markets. Oversee electrical systems design, including medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, controls, and related building and infrastructure systems. Represent Kitchener/London within the national electrical practice, collaborating with other office electrical managers to build an integrated national practice. Build
