Job Responsibilities
1. Develop/Customize/Configure/fix-issues in QNX software components for automotive platforms 2. Board bring up on Customer hardware platforms based on QC chipsets 3. Develop middleware components (ex. Lifecycle/Power Management, Software update, Safety applications etc.) on embedded Linux and/or real-time QNX platforms 4. Perform peer reviews, static analysis tests, continuous build and unit testing of the software 5. Working and coordinating with teams located across geographies 6. Work in an Agile SW team and methodology (Scrum, SAFe etc.) Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. • 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. 1) 10+ years of Hands-On Experience in Digital Cockpit Products 2) Expertise in kernel, device driver, BSP development, board bring up, porting and customization on Linux and QNX platforms 3) Work experience and good knowledge of different application processor architectures, especially ARM-v9 / Qualcomm Auto 82xx/81xx/72xx series 4) Experience working on Linux and QNX system-level design 5) In-depth experience in architecting multi-threaded software components 6) Good knowledge of Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML, experience in design tools such as Enterprise Architect and Rhapsody 7) Experience in deriving system and software architecture from customer requirements 8) Working knowledge in hypervisor and Inter Guest OS IPC/inter domain communication and protocol implementation with other sub systems. QNX Hypervisor is preferable. 9) Proficient in C, C++ 14 and above with development experience on embedded/hard real time systems (ex. QNX) 10) Experience in working on Adaptive Autosar is an added advantage 11) Excellent in problem solving, debugging on embedded target (using tools like JTAG, gdb, Trace32, valgrind), analyzing core dumps 12) Experience in triaging/pre-analysis of issues from system testing 13) Good knowledge of static code analysis and code coverage tools 14) Experience in performance analysis and performance optimization 15) Ability to work in a challenging environment, guide team members, good customer facing skills. 16) Preferable to have experience in Automotive domain Applicants : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
