The Wildbirch Hotel is seeking enthusiastic, personable, and skilled Bartenders to join our opening team. Whether you're creating the perfect morning cocktail for brunch guests or delivering an elevated evening beverage experience, you'll play a key role in bringing our hotel's unique hospitality vision to life. As Anchorage's first boutique hotel, we're looking for team members who are passionate about exceptional service, genuine guest connections, and showcasing the spirit of Alaska in every interaction. What You'll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and professionalism. Create memorable guest experiences through friendly, engaging service. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. Ensure compliance with all alcohol service and safety regulations. Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with restaurant, kitchen, and hotel teams to deliver exceptional service. Assist with opening and closing duties and inventory management. What We're Looking For Previous bartending experience preferred. Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional demeanor. Flexible availability for morning, evening, weekends, and holidays. Alaska TAP certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
All Bartenders are expected to provide exceptional guest service by delivering food and beverages, processing payments, answering guest inquiries, managing reservations, and creating a welcoming dining experience from arrival to departure. Food and Beverage staff maintain dining room readiness and presentation by setting and clearing tables, stocking service stations, rolling silverware, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all guest areas remain clean and organized. All staff support restaurant operations and teamwork by assisting coworkers, attending staff meetings, completing light food preparation, performing cleaning duties, and contributing to efficient daily operations and guest satisfaction.
