Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Team Leadership & Support

Assist in managing a team of I2C analysts or associates.

Monitor daily team activities including billing, cash applications, collections, and dispute management.

Support training and onboarding of new team members.

Encourage a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

2. Process Oversight

Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, cash allocation, and collection of receivables.

Monitor KPIs like DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), aging reports, and collection efficiency.

Identify and escalate process gaps or risks in the I2C cycle.

3. Customer & Stakeholder Management

Liaise with clients/customers to resolve disputes or delays in payments.

Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other finance functions to resolve billing or payment issues.

Provide regular updates to senior management on collections status and issues.

4. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on collections, cash flow, and aging.

Analyze trends to identify recurring payment delays or disputes.

Recommend process improvements based on data insights.

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

Assist in identifying automation or efficiency opportunities within the I2C process.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and external regulatory requirements.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

6. Learning & Development (as a Trainee)

Undergo structured training in finance operations, tools (like SAP, Oracle, or other ERPs), and leadership skills.

Participate in continuous improvement projects or cross-functional initiatives.

Shadow experienced team leads to understand operational leadership.
