SUMMARY The Vice President, Operations (Mechanicals) is responsible for leading operations for Jabil’s Injection Molding products, Sterilization capabilities, and Healthcare customers with over $1B in revenue and headcount of approximately 4,000 workers across multiple locations. The successful candidate is a proven leader with experience overseeing manufacturing facilities across the U.S., bringing a strategic, agile mindset and a strong track record as a change agent in operations. They will help create and execute key strategies that move the site forward with great effectiveness in a complex and dynamic external landscape. The individual must be resilient and collaborative, who works well as part of a team and has the executive courage to challenge status quo, make difficult recommendations and decisions. They possess superior operations stewardship navigating the complexities of a dynamic global market, an operational excellence mindset, authentic leadership, and impactful communication and influence skills. The VP, Operations (Mechanicals) is a strategic business partner to the SVPs and VPs of Global Business Units and Finance and plays a key role managing a strategic roadmap for operations at the site to meet customer demands and regulatory requirements, as applicable.  They drive a shared vision with Global Business Units to achieve strategic objectives within the location. They cultivate strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Jabil to ensure that customer needs / demand is well executed at the highest level of quality while achieving optimal margin.  They bring credibility, insight, and industry fluency to interactions with internal and external constituents including customers, industry partners, finance, and business units. The VP, Operations (Mechanicals) will be interpersonally adept and will inspire, motivate, and develop a team of top tier operational professionals. They lead as a consistent role model for others and message the importance of integrity and behaving in accordance with Jabil’s values, compliance, and ethical standards. KEY RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: EVP, Global Operations Direct reports: 4 Other key relationships: Plant Controller, Regional Controller  Regional Operations COE Global Business Units Functions (IT, HR, Supply Chain, etc.)            KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operations Strategy and Direction.   Provide leadership and direction to the site Operations team, including profit targets, defining short- and long-term vision, setting strategy, and holding accountability to execute upon operational goals.  Ensure company-wide policies are implemented within the operations. Operations Management.   Oversee all aspects of operations including manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, planning, and engineering.  Execute demand at the highest level of quality while achieving optimal margin and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, as applicable.   Ensure effective workforce & capacity planning to meet the dynamic customer demands; optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and profitability. Operational Excellence.  Utilize deep industry knowledge for operational processes, foster efficiency, and innovation.  Identify opportunities for process improvement; manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives across the locations and/or region driving automation, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
