OVERVIEW To monitor inventory levels of all assigned products at every General Mills location every day; follow replenishment requisitions as necessary deploying General Mills products across the network to achieve service level targets within acceptable cost parameters. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Review system generated service alerts daily. Deploy FG (Finished Goods) inventory across the network (General Mills CSF/warehouses) to achieve service level case-fill goals while balancing the inventory constraints with transportation costs. Maintain inventory levels at all Warehouses (CSFs) within expected tolerances (space/transportation/inventory constraints). Create/Adjust deployment requisitions to ensure smooth and steady flow of product to the CSFs Review product obsolescence/age management reports to proactively re-deploy inventory across locations as needed Review actual inventory movement vs. forecast to proactively react to demand trends (High/Low) Co-ordinate with cross functional teams that include Warehousing, Transportation, Product Life Cycle Management, Supply and Demand planning and other US Stakeholders Schedule / participate in meetings with Plants / business team to align on processes and identify opportunities for process improvements. Participate in the meetings for Seasonal SKUs, New products, Customer specific promotions, service meetings. Analyze and report Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s- case fills, mode mix, reposition $ etc.) affecting the transportation costs. Analyze & report key drivers (demand trends/production etc.) impacting variances in weekly service level performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory). Related experience required: Bachelors (2 plus years) Supply chain, Distribution Planning, Warehouse & Logistics Operation, Inventory management, Production/demand planning SAP - ERP and OMP understanding PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree 1 to 3 years of related experience Major Area of Study in Supply Chain COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves.
