The Quality Control Auditor inspects raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include identifying defects, performing audits, maintaining quality records, and following all safety and quality procedures.
JOB DUTIES
Inspects raw materials and/or finished goods for defects including visual, functionality and cohesion. Uses measurement equipment to ensure product meets customer specifications. Notifies operator of defects and closely monitors product until corrected. Assists WGL with containment of defective product. Audits for correct packaging and other customer quality requirements. Follows all quality procedures as outlined by management and accurately completes all required paperwork pertaining to these procedures. Enters and maintains quality data results in the quality management system. Maintains work area in a safe manner. Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic computer skills (data entry) required. Ability to stand, walk, twist up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs up to a level of 6ft high multiple times per day. Ability to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and applies good mathematical reasoning. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision. Strong organizational skills and the ability to be detail oriented. Positive work attitude and willingness to cooperate.
