Analyzes and develops logistics plans to control the movement of commodities from storage to distribution and to ensure the smooth running of operations. Job Requirements

Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times. Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues. Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date. Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level Competencies
