MPQ MDCX Engineering Intern

Job Description: The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: Contributes to the design and optimization of manufacturing engineering processes and factory operation. Assists in evaluating equipment performance, implementing corrective actions, and supporting process improvements. Collaborates with engineering and operations teams to enhance production efficiency and product quality. As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good teamwork, you will be required to work closely with peers to obtain common goals.

Minimum Qualifications : Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. The candidate must be in the process of acquiring a Bachelor, licenciatura or Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Good programming skills, C++, Perl, and/or Python. Reading and interpreting HW specifications expertise. Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written). Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Fundamentals on Electromagnetic Theory, Signal Integrity, Power Delivery, Power conversion, Voltage regulator design, Modeling, Simulation Software.
