Weekend Lead Mechanical Millwright

Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for Lead Maintenance Mechanical Millwrights-Weekends for our Greenville Lumber facility located in Grifton, NC. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Pay is based on experience, with the ability to grow up to $38.67 per hour. In addition, we have a weekend premium that amounts to $3.00 per hour for hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays. This vacancy will be assigned to weekend shift (Friday-Monday) Key Functions: - Role model all standards/processes and on-the-job behavior by living our core principles of integrity, fairness, & creating a positive, inclusive work environment. - Fill in for Maintenance Supervisor, as necessary, including but not limited to vacations and weekends. - Support Greenville Lumber by maximizing equipment reliability and providing support for facility equipment in a safe manner, by effectively managing/motivating a team of millwrights to meet operational excellence and reliability goals. - Work closely with the maintenance/electrical supervisor(s), planners, mill management, operators, maintenance, and production teams to effectively manage maintenance of the facility and equipment. Machinery lubrication & other preventative maintenance assignments. - Repairing & troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions. - Bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets, and chain drive installations. - Repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. - Metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repair. - Some troubleshooting and exposure to industrial electricity issues and controls. - A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations.
