Responsibilities

Lead I&C projects through full lifecycle (scope, design, implementation, validation, commissioning/start-up) for complex site and infrastructure systems. Provide technical leadership for control system architecture, PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions, control panel design, and integration with facility systems. Develop scopes of work, cost/schedule inputs, and technical requirements, coordinate with project managers, construction, system engineers, and designers. Review designs and project activities for compliance with codes, standards, and internal guidelines; provide clear feedback to improve quality and maintainability. Perform field verification and investigations; produce field notes/redlines and ensure sustaining drawings and documentation are updated. Manage and expand relationships with internal teams and external suppliers/integrators; support issue resolution and remove project roadblocks. Mentor and guide less experienced engineers; contribute to process improvements and adoption of new technologies.

Education & Experience

Required Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related engineering field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial controls and/or facility infrastructure environments. Demonstrated ability to lead technical work, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with minimal direction. Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing facility systems (e.g., HVAC, pumped chemical, gas, industrial wastewater treatment). Platform experience such as Emerson RX3i PLCs and/or GE Cimplicity SCADA. Required Certifications Professional Engineer (PE) license. Knowledge & Skills Controls engineering: PLC programming and troubleshooting, control panel/system design, discrete/analog signals, and PID control fundamentals. HMI/SCADA: development and configuration of operator interfaces. Electrical fundamentals: understanding of applicable electrical codes; 3‑phase power distribution, metering, and common industrial components. Design and documentation: interpret drawings/schematics/wiring diagrams; perform field verification; create and incorporate redlines/updates. Tools/software: proficiency with relevant engineering and analysis tools (e.g., power system studies tools such as PTW/EZPOWER/PowerWorld, as applicable). Networking concepts: familiarity with IT network architecture as applied to industrial control systems (switches, edge devices, segmentation considerations). Analytical and communication skills: strong problem solving; ability to communicate architectures, design trade-offs, and recommendations to stakeholders. The pay range for this role is   $116,150   to   $182,400   USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America
