Job Overview

As a Software Engineer , you will contribute to the design, development, verification, and certification of safety-critical avionics software that powers modern aircraft. What You Will Do
Design, develop, verify, and validate safety-critical avionics software features and functionality. Support software verification and validation activities in compliance with DO-178B/C standards. Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including: Requirements analysis and capture Software requirements definition Software design and development Integration Formal verification and testing Develop software verification test cases, test procedures, and certification artifacts. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver project milestones. Analyze interfaces between software and hardware components to ensure seamless integration. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and scope changes, and proactively escalate issues. Support structural coverage analysis and unit test automation activities. Ensure compliance with software configuration management and change control processes. Participate in customer interactions, technical discussions, presentations, and onsite engineering support as required. What We Prefer Experience in Avionics Displays or other safety-critical embedded systems. Hands-on experience with DO-178B/C software development and verification. Proficiency in C, Python, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow . Knowledge of software certification documentation and verification processes. Experience with structural coverage analysis and automated unit testing tools. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global engineering environment.
Qualifications
You Must Have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) or a related STEM discipline. Minimum 1 + years of experience in software development within a safety-critical domain, preferably Avionics Displays. Experience in software development and verification following DO-178B/C guidelines. Strong programming skills in C . Experience with Python for software verification and validation activities. Understanding of: High-Level and Low-Level Software Requirements Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile methodologies Configuration Management and Change Control processes Ability to develop software verification test cases and test procedures. Knowledge of structural coverage analysis and unit test automation tools.
