The Clinical Operations Manager provides leadership, direction and administration of Urgent Care operations to ensure accomplishment of clinic and organizational objectives. Coordinates, supervises and is responsible for the daily activities of the staff and overall operation of the clinic. By collaborating with clinical and physician leadership, the clinical operations manager achieves the Quadruple Aim while driving financial and operational performance, ensuring a positive and productive relationship with internal and external stakeholders, and developing strategies to implement organizational mission, vision and values.
Primary Responsibilities
Administrative Functions Directs and coordinates clinic systems, policies, procedures, and operational activities to ensure efficient practice operations Reviews operational issues, evaluates existing policies, and recommends process improvements and operational changes Facilitates employment administration including payroll, benefits, staffing, and related human resource activities Oversees accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Designs and tracks patient outreach initiatives and engagement strategies Adheres to all applicable regulations as well as company policies, processes, and procedures Management Functions Oversees administrative staff management including supervision, hiring, and terminations; determine staffing needs, and ensure efficient utilization of teammates ensuring consistency with ACE standard work and processes Establishes performance standards, facilitates employee coaching, and support staff professional growth and development Provides leadership and administration to ensure achievement of clinic and organizational objectives while establishing team priorities Partners with providers and clinical leadership to support operational and clinical initiatives Business Functions Develops and monitors key performance indicators to improve access, reduce total cost of care, improve quality, and improve patient and team experience Collaborates with other site leaders, providers, and support functions to execute plans and achieve site/department goals Leads and/or participates in departmental quality improvement and service excellence activities. Research and resolve local clinical quality issues Ensures efficient revenue cycle operations, including copay capture and charge entry Applies Lean methodology to improve processes, reduce waste, and maximize value-added time You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent 3+ years of experience in a leadership role Experience leading projects or team Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Resilient and adaptive to changing environments Demonstrates an innovative and continuous improvement mindset Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting Experience with EPIC EMR Managed care and/or ambulatory care experience Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
