Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.  Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) Radio Frequency (RF) electronics, electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies.

What You Will Do

Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, and components – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on RF Test and Evaluation hands-on experience. Electronics troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures. Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations. Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes. Proficient in reading and fully interpreting Assembly Drawings and Schematics Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes. Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects. This will be a 1st shift, onsite role.

Qualifications

You Must Have Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in RF Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.) The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
