This role requires hands-on software engineering experience in C, C++, and Python. This is a highly visible role that will require working across geographic boundaries at a fast tempo. Close collaboration with architects and program management is required. HPC Software Development Engineer  HPE is seeking an experienced software development engineer to join the DAOS Core software engineering team.  What you’ll do:

Independently diagnose, design, and implement solutions to complex technical challenges. Understanding features from existing documentation and reading C source code. Writing code with an eye on performance and scalability. Maintaining documentation of their work. Writing unit tests along with their product code. Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team. What you need to bring:

Bachelor's or Masters' in Computer Science or Equivalent, 5+ years of experience as a software engineer. Proficiency in C programming. Experience with software debugging. Strong Linux skills. 3+ years of experience with distributed storage systems/filesystems, such as Lustre or
