Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities Analyze and model data to structure and organize information effectively, ensuring it can be consumed in web/portal interfaces. Develop and automate data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and tools using Power BI, Python, Knime, Excel, Access, and other relevant platforms, exposing insights through web-based/portal solutions . Integrate data from multiple sources, such as Oracle, Databricks, and Hive/Hue, to generate actionable insights and feed backend services/APIs that support the portal . Design, build, and maintain web portals and internal applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and, ideally, a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue), integrated with Purchasing data and tools. Design robust backend systems and intuitive, functional and responsive user interfaces. Ensure performance, reliability, and security of developed solutions, including portal pages and underlying services . Maintain and enhance existing tools and reporting systems, migrating or integrating them into a unified portal experience where applicable . Apply artificial intelligence techniques to automate repetitive tasks and optimize processes, embedding AI-assisted features in the portal when relevant . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions, translating user journeys into portal features and interfaces . Document processes and maintain up-to-date internal systems and tools, including technical and user documentation for the portal . Play a key role in the digital transformation journey of the Purchasing team, owning and evolving the Purchasing digital portal as a central entry point for data, tools, and processes .

Experience in Supply Chain and S&OP processes. Practical experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and building internal portals or web applications. Familiarity with integrating front-end applications with backend services/APIs (REST), including authentication and authorization for internal users. Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Agile. Ability to translate user needs into digitalization workstreams, from requirements into concrete portal modules, pages, and components .
