About the Role
Join Accenture's Energy & Utilities practice as an Enterprise Architect Consultant, helping utility organizations across Malaysia, Singapore, and Southeast Asia deliver large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives. This role combines deep Energy & Utilities domain expertise with enterprise architecture leadership to shape target-state architectures, modernization roadmaps, and governance frameworks across cloud, data, integration, cybersecurity, and Information Technology (IT) / Operational Technology (OT) environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and delivery teams to align business objectives with scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and target-state architectures across business, application, data, integration, cloud, security, and IT/OT domains. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into enterprise architecture roadmaps and transformation initiatives. Conduct architecture assessments across application portfolios, data ecosystems, integration landscapes, infrastructure, security posture, and operational environments. Lead application modernization, portfolio rationalization, cloud adoption, and technology transformation initiatives. Establish architecture governance through architecture review boards, design authorities, reference architectures, standards, and decision frameworks. Design and govern enterprise integration and IT/OT architectures connecting operational technologies with enterprise systems and digital platforms. Guide solution architects and delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and target-state roadmaps. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, architecture reviews, executive presentations, and vendor engagements to drive alignment and informed decision-making. Support solution shaping, proposal development, Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, estimation activities, and reusable architecture asset development for regional Utilities opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10-12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technology Consulting, Systems Integration, Cloud Transformation, or Utility Technology Modernization. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an Enterprise Architect, Lead Architect, or equivalent architecture leadership role. Proven experience within the Energy & Utilities industry, preferably Electricity or Power Utilities. Strong understanding of utility business processes across customer operations, billing, metering, grid operations, asset management, field workforce management, outage management, market operations, and regulatory reporting. Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence and utility technologies including SCADA, ADMS/DMS, OMS, GIS, AMI, HES, and MDMS platforms. Demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture development, architecture governance, and transformation roadmap design. Experience translating business capabilities and operating model priorities into application, data, integration, cloud, and security architecture strategies. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI, including cloud migration, modernization, resilience, and cost optimization. Experience designing enterprise integration architectures using APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and hybrid cloud environments. Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and analytics enablement. Knowledge of security architecture principles including IAM, Zero Trust, cybersecurity controls, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, workshop
