Air Power Strategic Technology, Capture, and Frontier AI Scientist The Opportunity:   The Air Power Strategic Technology, Capture, and Frontier AI Scientist will provide senior technical leadership across market strategy, opportunity shaping, capture, proposal development, scientific innovation, and billable program delivery. This role defines differentiated, mission‑aligned technical approaches that enhance capture success, expand Air Power market growth, and translate emerging science and technology into secure, scalable, testable, and operationally relevant capabilities. The position leads opportunity‑specific technical solution development, authors white papers and technical points of view, directs technical volumes for high‑priority captures, and provides hands‑on technical leadership for billable engagements. This role ensures continuity between proposed technical solutions and delivered capabilities, guaranteeing that commitments made in capture and proposal phases are feasible, executable, and positioned to generate measurable mission outcomes. The role also leads Air Power’s frontier AI strategy and technology insertion across machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, autonomy, multimodal AI, computer vision, decision support, synthetic data, and edge‑deployed AI. It establishes phased modernization pathways that move Air Power customers from existing systems and constraints toward progressively more advanced capabilities aligned with the Department’s Warfighting Acquisition System and acquisition‑transformation priorities. You Have: Experience in supporting Air Power or DoD technical research, prototyping, or capability exploration within advanced technology or mission‑focused environments Knowledge of AI and ML concepts, exploratory modeling, or analytic techniques used to evaluate emerging technical solutions Ability to translate mission needs into structured technical approaches, collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders Top Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
