Research Technology & Cloud Solutions Architect

In this role, you will work with research teams to understand their needs and translate them into secure, scalable and supportable solutions using Oracle technologies. You will advise on solution architecture, cloud adoption, analytics platforms, application modernization, automation and applied AI. You will also collaborate closely with Oracle Health Cloud Engineering, Oracle IT, security, privacy and governance teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with enterprise standards and can be implemented successfully.

Required Qualifications: • 5–10+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, solution architecture, research technology, analytics engineering, data platforms or technical consulting. • Experience designing and delivering cloud-based technology solutions. • Strong ability to translate complex or ambiguous business requirements into practical technical designs. • Experience with databases, analytics platforms, applications, dashboards, data workflows, automation or cloud migration. • Knowledge of cloud architecture principles, security, networking, identity and access management and role-based access control. • Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, governance and data-management requirements. • Familiarity with research, analytics, reporting, data science or applied AI environments. • Proficiency in at least one relevant language or technology, such as Python, R, SQL, PL/SQL, SAS or SPSS. • Strong written, verbal and stakeholder-management skills. • Ability to communicate technical concepts, options and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience working across research, business, engineering, security, governance and delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or related Oracle technologies. • Experience with Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, Oracle APEX, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Object Storage or OCI Data Science. • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, research, market research or analytics consulting. • Understanding of research methodologies, survey data, statistical analysis or research delivery workflows. • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications and analytical environments. • Experience working within a large enterprise cloud environment with formal architecture, security and provisioning processes
