Job Summary As a Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations. This role is ideal for a passionate and motivated individual looking to develop their culinary skills and gain experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items according to company standards. Carry out basic food preparation and cooking tasks under the supervision of senior chefs. Ensure all mise en place is prepared accurately and efficiently before service. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times. Assist with receiving, storing, labelling, and rotating stock in line with FIFO procedures. Support the kitchen team during service periods to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Help minimize food waste and maintain portion control standards. Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a positive dining experience for guests. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, develop culinary skills, and contribute to a strong team culture.
