Blades Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose Supervise and execute maintenance activities on the shop floor to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and production processes. This role focuses on daily execution, technical problem-solving, and direct leadership of maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Reliability - Execute and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. - Ensure quick response and effective resolution of equipment failures. - Support reduction of unplanned downtime through troubleshooting and root cause analysis. - Ensure accurate and timely use of the CMMS system. 2. Transfers, Start-Up & Support - Support installation, start-up, and validation of equipment and processes. - Participate in production line transfers (domestic and international). - Assist in equipment modifications, plant improvements, and shutdown activities. 3. Team Leadership - Supervise maintenance technicians (mechanical, electrical, automation). - Assign daily tasks and monitor execution and performance. - Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance. - Ensure discipline, adherence to procedures, and proper work practices. 4. Resource Management (MRO) - Ensure proper use of spare parts, tools, and materials. - Support MRO inventory control and report critical spare parts needs. - Follow up on work orders and material usage. 5. Safety, Environmental & Compliance - Ensure compliance with safety (EHS), environmental, and operational standards. - Promote safe work practices and proper use of PPE. - Report unsafe conditions and support incident investigations. - Ensure all maintenance work follows established procedures. 6. Cross-Functional Coordination - Coordinate daily activities with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams. - Communicate equipment status and maintenance priorities. - Support operational needs to ensure production continuity.
