This role focuses on providing delivery and project management and portfolio leadership to enable effective and consistent execution of cybersecurity and fraud initiatives in the Truist Protection Services (TPS) department. This delivery leader: • excels in stakeholder management across security domain teams, portfolio operations, and business partners. • manages delivery risks and issues, and escalates appropriately to project sponsors • execution to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved. • transparent project reporting that supports informed decision-making. Plans, organizes, and controls resources, timelines, and budgets for multiple complex technical projects and programs to ensure successful delivery. Maintains and enforces technical program and project management best practices, templates, standards, and processes across multiple initiatives. Monitors project dependencies and consolidated status across multiple projects, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Provides technical guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring compliance with requirements and quality standards. Conducts comprehensive risk analysis and manages risk mitigation plans to minimize project impact. Executes vendor integration, contract management, and performance evaluation where applicable. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with organizational strategy. Drives continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Guides and may direct the work of lower-level professionals within projects or programs. Ensures quality assurance and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in technical project or program management. Strong knowledge of enterprise project and program management methodologies, governance, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of project management experience, preferably within a Program or Portfolio Management Office (PMO). 3+ years working in a delivery
