Position Summary The Backup Administrative Coordinator provides support for the store's administrative functions and serves as a backup to the Administrative Coordinator when needed. This position assists with hiring processes, payroll administration, employee records, scheduling support, reporting, and general office operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support
Assist with daily administrative operations and office management tasks. Serve as backup coverage for Administrative Coordinator responsibilities during absences or peak business periods. Maintain organized and accurate personnel, payroll, and store records. Process, file, and distribute administrative documents and reports. Support store leadership with administrative projects and assignments. Human Resources Support
Assist with onboarding activities for new hires. Help maintain employee files and required employment documentation. Support recruitment efforts, interview scheduling, and hiring processes. Ensure confidentiality when handling employee information. Assist with training records and compliance documentation. Payroll & Scheduling
Review and process timekeeping records for accuracy. Assist with payroll preparation and related documentation. Support management with scheduling administration and labor reporting. Identify and communicate payroll discrepancies for timely resolution. Maintain attendance and scheduling records as required. Communication & Customer Service
Serve as a professional point of contact for employees, applicants, vendors, and visitors. Respond to inquiries or direct concerns to appropriate departments. Maintain positive working relationships with store associates and leadership. Support internal communications and distribution of company information. Reporting & Record Management
Generate, distribute, and maintain store reports. Verify accuracy of administrative data and records. Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and records management. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and employee information. Safety & Compliance
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Ensure compliance with labor, payroll, and recordkeeping requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure office environment. Follow all applicable safety guidelines and operational procedures. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative, payroll, human resources, or office experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday. Ability to use a computer and office equipment for extended periods. Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Benefits
