The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.     Morenci is a unique company town where our employees and their families can reconnect with nature through hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and numerous parks.  Perform routine maintenance activities. Develop solutions for various maintenance situations. Complete Work Orders and other maintenance documentation. Train and mentor maintenance employees. Perform other duties as required. What You Bring To Freeport 
 Four (4) years' experience in the crafts of Machinist, Line Boring, Welding, Boiler Maker Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required mechanical aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and technical skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on technical skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety. Proficiency in welding/cutting. Ability to Operate a 11”, 20”, 24” and 32” Lathe, Milling Machine, Horizontal Milling Machine, Marvel Band Saw, Drill Press. Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English. Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards. Preferred Qualifications 
 High School Diploma or GED Experience working on 4100XPA, 4100XPB/C and 4100 XPC/AC Komatsu Electric Shovels Experience working on PV271, PV271XC Epiroc Diesel Drills What We Offer You  The estimated pay range for this role is currently  $28.00 - $38.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
