Software Development Engineer II, Software, AI, and Technology (Digital Native)

We support them in architecting, migrating, and optimizing their workloads to unlock the full potential of the cloud. We face complex technical challenges at massive scale, which we solve through deep technical expertise, science, and innovation. We are a high-impact organization that drives AWS adoption across the technology sector and helps shape how the broader industry builds with AI and cloud. We're the Core ML Services Engineering team supporting the SWAT organization. We create next-gen ML services that are ahead of the industry standard and cloud standard solutions, and that help accelerate AI and ML developments with end-to-end highly automated and highly intelligent ML model building and ML feature engineering solutions. We own and build consolidated ML orchestration environments that will drive speed, quality, and efficiency of ML efforts across SWAT and Amazon. We not only leverage industry-leading AI technology such as AWS AI and open source AI frameworks, we innovate our own solutions that are ahead of the curve to help our technology customers push the boundaries of what's possible. Key job responsibilities Develop large scale, high performance, high reliability ML systems for data, feature, model and rule management. Work closely with ML scientists and solutions architects, understand the requirements, design and deliver innovative next-gen solutions to help technology customers accelerate their AI journey. Work as the owner of the system and operate excellently to provide stable and robust services to customers and other teams. Innovate based on new ideas and build comprehensive system/features across the whole ML pipeline.
