The Windows Ecosystem and Commercial Engagement team (WECE) is where Microsoft’s Windows vision meets the energy, scale, and innovation of a global ecosystem. Within WECE, Hardware Engineering Enablement (HEE) helps bring modern hardware innovation to life on Windows PCs—delivering the tools, guidance, insights, and engineering partnership that elevate device quality, performance, efficiency, and user delight across the ecosystem. The WECE HEE Taiwan team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to help shape the future of input experiences on Windows—enabling modern, intuitive, and delightful ways for people to interact with their PCs. In this role, you will influence the direction of next-generation Windows input technologies, guide ecosystem partners through seamless adoption, and drive quality and user-experience excellence from concept to scale. You will collaborate across Microsoft engineering teams and a diverse partner network of OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, silicon partners, and industry stakeholders to align technology vision with ecosystem execution. Through tools, assessments, enablement documentation, data-driven insights, and hands-on engineering support, you will help make compelling, high-quality input experiences on Windows PCs possible for millions of users around the world. Responsibilities
Drive strategy, adoption, and ecosystem readiness of modern input technologies across the Windows platform. Partner with engineering, OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, silicon vendors, and industry stakeholders to define and execute roadmap priorities. Lead cross-functional programs that improve platform capability, quality, validation, and partner experience. Lead v-team to create docs and tools for ecosystem enablement and self-validation. Influence technical direction, industry standards, and partner implementation through data-driven insights and stakeholder engagement. Represent the business in executive reviews, partner discussions, and strategic planning activities. Leverage data and AI to efficiency optimization, quality improvement and business insights.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security), product management, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of program management, product management, or related experience. Experience in driving platform, hardware, firmware, or ecosystem initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated proven ability to influence across organizations and drive alignment with and without direct authority. Outstanding communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills for mandarin and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Windows platform technologies, hardware validation, device ecosystems, or industry standards. Experience collaborating with OEMs, silicon vendors, or hardware IHV partners. Proven record of leading complex cross-organizational programs from strategy through execution.
