The IT Scrum Master – Salesforce & Digital Customer Experience (DCX) is responsible The Senior Salesforce & AI Architect is responsible for defining and leading the enterprise CRM, AI, and Marketing Technology architecture strategy across Salesforce and integrated Commercial & Marketing platforms. This role serves as the principal architect for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, AI, Customer Experience, and supporting Commercial & Marketing applications. The Architect partners closely with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Digital Experience, Customer Care, Sales Enablement, and IT leadership to design scalable, secure, and AI-enabled business solutions that accelerate lead generation, customer engagement, commercial effectiveness, service excellence, and business growth. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce platform expertise with modern AI architecture, enterprise integration design, data strategy, and commercial business process transformation. This job will be based in our Sunnyvale, CA corporate office and will be part of the IT Applications front office team and report to the IT Applications Director.
Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Pardot, and Agentforce, ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions. Define and drive AI and Agentforce strategy , including autonomous agents, AI-powered lead qualification, customer engagement, service automation, prompt engineering, governance, and responsible AI practices. Own the Marketing Technology architecture roadmap , supporting marketing automation, campaign management, lead lifecycle processes, customer journeys, website experiences, attribution, and integrated Martech platforms. Architect end-to-end commercial solutions that improve sales productivity, customer experience, forecasting, pipeline management, CPQ processes, and digital engagement across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care functions. Lead enterprise integrations and customer data strategy , connecting Salesforce with SAP, marketing systems, analytics platforms, AI services, and customer data platforms while ensuring data quality and governance. Provide technical leadership and stakeholder management , mentoring architects and developers, leading solution design reviews, establishing architecture standards, and partnering with executive business leaders to translate strategy into technology roadmaps. In addition to these responsibilities, a Salesforce Senior Architect should possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and be capable of leading and managing complex Salesforce projects.
