Job Description: PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer in Austin, TX Job Duties: Develop and maintain high-performing, reusable Java and Kotlin code, while staying updated with the latest mobile technologies. Participate in software code reviews and collaborate with product owners to define technical requirements during grooming and planning sessions.  Work closely with engineering managers, engineers, and partner teams to design innovative solutions. Define and develop processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure software excellence in terms of performance, scalability, testing, and availability.  Follow software coding standards and best practices, with a strong focus on mobile UI design principles and patterns.  Utilize knowledge and experience with Java and Kotlin programming to deliver high quality applications.  Partial telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
