Manage a large construction site and delivery organisation, managing scopes related to construction projects or capital improvement projects. Be responsible for ensuring the development of detailed designs, managing construction (delivery, cost, quality and EHS), commissioning, close-out and hand-off to the operations team. Ensure all customer requirements are being met. Establish and maintain various delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors. Create a growth plan and be involved in hiring/recruiting of talent in the areas of project management, field engineering, document control, technical writing, etc. Research and implement construction means and methods of data center equipment and facilities. Carry design concepts into mass production and integrate into facilities.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in project and construction management. Experience with commercial contract management and procurement. Experience in electrical and mechanical systems. Experience managing construction projects, within an international working environment. Preferred qualifications: Experience working with (data center) equipment/environments (including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems), with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes. Experience managing vendor relationships, with an understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry. Ability to build excellent relationships and deliver on action-orientated tasks. Ability to communicate in Finnish fluently.
