RTR Cash Management Specialist, Cork   Gilead Sciences, Inc. is a research-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercialises innovative medicines in areas of unmet medical need. This matters because inclusion brings innovation and engagement, people will feel valued and empowered.   General Job Requirements:   Reporting to the RTR Manager/Snr Manager, within Global Financial Solutions (GFS), this position will be responsible for the cash management accounting activities within the RTR team. Job duties include:   Cash Management: Responsibility for the Cash management processes include: Preparation of bank reconciliation statements on a frequent and timely basis. Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries (with appropriate supporting documentation) for the month end close and accounting transactions. Maintains and reconciles balance sheet ledger accounts and facilitates the timely resolution of reconciling items. Frequent interaction with peers, outside customers and functional group members at various management levels. Interaction will require the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations or providing technical information concerning specific projects. Implements and maintains accounting systems, policies and procedures including compliance with worldwide Controller’s manual. General: Experience in a global finance function of a multi-location, multinational corporation. The development of strong relationships with key stakeholders, in particular with market finance teams across EMEA, APAC and US.  Ability to quickly establish credibility with and influence diverse audiences.
