Warehouse Supervisor Where will you work: - K1, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, Canada   Shift Schedule: - Day shift - 9/80 About the role To plan, organize, and supervise surface and underground warehouse activities and manage site storeroom inventory using SAP, with an approximate inventory value of $12 million to $17 million, ensuring consistent 24/7 high-level customer service to the Maintenance and Operations departments. Collaborate, communicate, and share all relevant information with Maintenance and Operations supervisors regarding parts and material inventory requirements to prevent plant or equipment shutdowns. Build and maintain strong working relationships with all site stakeholders. Provide for the safe execution of warehouse processes while ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Maintain operational efficiencies by monitoring costs, quality, continuous improvement initiatives, employee development and engagement, and new programs. Manage and review the inventory cycle count process, oversee inventory ordering activities, coordinate new inventory additions, and manage obsolete inventory. What will you do? Manage correspondence and provide ongoing problem-solving support within the site business unit. Respond to maintenance and operations customers in a timely manner regarding various inquiries, concerns, and issues, involving the appropriate stakeholders when decisions or communications are required. Attend site and business unit meetings focused on process alignment, operational effectiveness, and the development and implementation of new initiatives. Plan, execute, communicate, and continuously follow up on action items. Communicate effectively with all levels of management and site personnel. Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders as required in the SAP system. Manage inventory levels, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, reporting, obsolete material coordination and disposal, and the sale of surplus site materials. Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse processes, procedures, and policies. Communicate and execute departmental and business unit requirements, including the management and execution of 5S objectives. Lead storeroom safety meetings and conduct safety audits. Develop, coach, and support employees to retain and expand talent within the team. Facilitate cross-training opportunities and provide timely, constructive feedback to ensure employees clearly understand their roles, responsibilities, and business objectives. Address performance concerns as required and participate in all required ongoing training. What do you need for this role? High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, and/or supervisory experience. Experience working with SAP, including purchasing, inventory management, and materials control functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a customer-focused mindset. Preferred Experience in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment environments. Knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, procurement, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience leading safety initiatives and employee development programs.
