Shift: 2nd Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities (every other weekend). Pay Rate: $30-36 (commensurate with experience). Shift differential: $1.00    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with advanced PLC and controls expertise to support our state-of-the-art Bubble and Foam Extrusion Plant. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive troubleshooting abilities across electrical systems, mechanical processes, and pneumatic/hydraulic components. This role requires a safety-focused professional who can maintain critical manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment.   Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial extrusion equipment while adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and production requirements Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex PLC systems, electrical circuits, and control panels in a manufacturing setting Calibrate instrumentation and conduct preventative maintenance inspections on production machinery Install new equipment and implement modifications to existing manufacturing systems Rebuild critical equipment components, including hydraulic systems, pneumatic devices, and mechanical assemblies Maintain facility infrastructure and grounds to ensure optimal operational conditions Take ownership of assigned equipment condition and performance metrics Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed technical reports with improvement recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and plant-wide goals Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies during assigned on-call weekends Qualifications

2-5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related technical field. Demonstrated expertise with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial control systems. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Practical experience in maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Working knowledge of bulk material handling equipment (loaders, hoppers, vacuum systems). High school diploma or equivalent. Two-year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred. Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use precision measurement tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Capable of frequently lifting up to 40 pounds. Must be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled industrial settings.
