Opportunity snapshot: The Sales Director, Banking and Financial Institutions role will be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne office and has the overall responsibility to lead, manage and own the planning, activity, strategic and commercial management of new business sales in the Banking and Financial Institutions segment. This role is focused on a range of products with the portfolio consisting of: Services and solutions to Australian banks (all tiers) Services and solutions to non-bank financial institutions (NBFI) such as credit unions, friendly societies and non-bank lenders What You Will Get To Do: Responsible for the local segment sales strategy, building and executing against a sales plan to deliver profitable revenue growth. Leads the revenue forecasting process for banking and NBFI, working with Finance to ensure an accurate view of expected sales revenues from new business. Responsible for executive relationships and stakeholder management within the new business pipeline. Contributes to the development of local marketing campaigns and strategy. Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs, to effectively position SS&C Responsible for executing sales strategies for target products/solutions, to build a strong qualified pipeline of new opportunities and convert them into profitable business relationships. Ensure all Banking/NBFI sales proposals are commercially viable and achieve required solution margins. Leads Banking and NBFI RFP processes and ensures high quality submissions. Ensure a detailed understanding of client and prospect business, products, strategy, requirements and understand the impact on SS&C’s service offering. Achieve Year on Year Growth and individuals / team sales targets through understanding the financial drivers of stakeholders. Lead new business proposal processes through a deep understanding of SS&C’s products, services and technologies and how these can add value to a client's business. Lead all commercial and contractual Banka and NBFI sales relationships. Senior point of contact for escalations and owns the resolution process. Skills and Competencies: Proven track record in sales, hitting individual targets and winning new names. Strong network within the Australian Banking and NBFI industry. Proven executive stakeholder management. Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy. Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory environment.
