The Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure Finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first and AI transformation. As demand for cloud and AI services accelerates, delivering infrastructure capacity efficiently and converting it into customer-ready services is one of Microsoft’s most critical business priorities. The Cloud Capacity Delivery & Automation role sits at the center of this challenge, connecting customer demand signals to supply execution, server deployment, go-live readiness, and monetization. We are looking for a talented, motivated, and technically curious individual who is passionate about data, automation, operational excellence, and shaping the future of Microsoft cloud products. This is a role for a systems-oriented finance professional who can operate across Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Capacity Planning, and Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate should pair skilled finance and business judgment with data fluency, automation mindset, and curiosity about AI infrastructure. The core mission is to drive visibility, automation, and execution excellence across the cloud infrastructure delivery lifecycle, accelerating the path from customer demand to monetizable capacity.
Responsibilities
Drive End-to-End Capacity Execution Partner across Capacity Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Finance to improve infrastructure delivery execution. Connect customer demand signals to supply availability, deployment progress, go-live readiness, and monetizable cloud capacity. Identify execution bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities to accelerate capacity delivery and customer availability. Support operating rhythms that improve predictability, accountability, and execution performance across the delivery lifecycle. Build Data, Automation, and AI Solutions Develop dashboards, analytical tools, and automation solutions that improve visibility into capacity execution and decision-making. Partner with FD&E and engineering teams to build and maintain scalable data models, reporting platforms, and operational analytics. Leverage AI and automation technologies to streamline manual processes, improve decision quality, and increase operational effectiveness. Help define and improve data foundations that support infrastructure planning, delivery execution, and capacity monetization. Deliver Strategic Insights Analyze large-scale operational datasets spanning demand planning, supply execution, deployment readiness, and capacity utilization. Develop scenario analyses and predictive insights that improve execution outcomes and leadership decisions. Translate complex technical and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders. Surface risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities across the infrastructure delivery process.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work
