Job Overview
The Strategy & Transformation Office within Global Procurement at TE Connectivity is seeking a Project Manager to drive high-impact digital transformation initiatives. The PM will work closely with global stakeholders across Procurement, IT, business users, process owners and cross-functional teams to enable innovation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the strategic modernization of procurement through technology and process excellence. Roles & Responsibility:
Lead and manage strategic digital transformation projects within Global Procurement, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines. Collaborate with IT and functional leaders to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle – from planning and business case development to execution, deployment, and adoption. Establish and maintain project documentation, including charters, schedules, dashboards, and status reports. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes. Support procurement digitalization initiatives such as automation, analytics enablement, and system integration. Standardize and enhance project governance, reporting, and metrics for Global Procurement programs. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and agile execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in procurement transformation or digital projects. Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, Supplier Management, and Spend Analytics processes. Experience with Agile / hybrid project methodologies; PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus. Familiarity with digital procurement tools such as SAP, Jaggaer, PLM systems, ServiceNow, and data visualization / analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau, strong capability in MS Office Suite, SharePoint. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
