We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Workers Compensation Advisor to join our driven and ambitious team based in South Melbourne. Reporting into the ANZ Rehabilitation and Workers Compensation Manager, this role will see you support Mondelēz ANZ deliver statutory benefits to injured/ill workers in line with regulatory requirements whilst reducing liabilities through effective claims management and early return to work. The role will see you as the conduit between our iconic manufacturing sites, the commercial business units and the broader HSE team in relation to the management of workers compensation and return to work. The role will across all State jurisdictions for both self-insured and insured states of Mondelēz ANZ. The primary focus will be to endure compliant systems and processes in line with legislative requirements in the various States. How you will contribute You will: Manage the end-to-end portfolio of workers compensation claims for Victoria as the Self-Insured State Process and set up compensation claims for the Non-Self-Insured States in SolvInjury Assess all new claims and setting up processes to determine liability for Vic claims Request payroll information for new claims and determine the rate of pay for Vic claims Review, reconcile and notify payroll team to process compensation and other associated Workcover entitlement within pay cycles Process payments in the Solv Calculator system for all States Monitor medical and like expenses of Vic claims Submit and balance of wage reimbursements for the Non-Self-Insured States Maintain the Solv Injury claims management system Regular engagement with injured employees and line managers on worker compensation service provisions as a self-insurer to ensure compliance and relevant legislation and organisational requirements Participate in regular claims reviews with key stakeholders Provide monthly claims management statistics, monthly claims tracking data, claims trend analysis reports and other reports as required using Standard and Custom reports Assess and support strategies for the management/assessment and of all claims What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in: Diploma qualification in a risk management, insurance, OHS or related field Knowledge of SolvInjury- Workcover management systems Demonstrated experience within a self-insurance environment or Agent/Insuer with preferred 3+ years’ experience Strong written and verbal skills Ability to build relationships internally and externally Collaborate with internal business partners Act with honesty and integrity Makes decisions based on sound knowledge Acts like an owner More about this role Work schedule: Head office-based role with a hybrid working environment.
