Job Family Definition: Factory resident representative for HPE manufacturing test organization, based in factory of HPE manufacturing partner which is located in Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam. Responsible for planning, schedules, equipment and diagnostics required for testing and evaluating both standard and special devices. Specifies tests to be performed and provides test area with parameters for sample testing. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment and diagnostics, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Ensure that manufacturing partner implements test process per HPE specifications. Monitor critical metrics at factories. Drives initiatives to improve the quality of product, test yield, efficiency. Management Level Definition: Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Provide mentorship to engineers of manufacturing partner in resolving factory test issues.

Factory resident representative for HPE manufacturing test organization. Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced testing and development partners regarding testing status, project progress, test results, and issue resolution. Conduct reviews of product changes (ECO/MCOs/Deviations etc) and assessment of impact to manufacturing test process. Supports failure analysis for escalated issues from factory and field (DOA and RMA). Ensure that manufacturing partner implements test process per HPE specifications. Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff member. Work multi-functionally with other members from HPE operations and engineering teams to resolve problems affecting manufacturing test. Monitor critical metrics at factories. Drives initiatives to improve the quality of product, test yield, efficiency. Reduce test cost and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Typically 6-8 years experience. Knowledge and Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design. Understand network technologies and physical interfaces. Has experience with linux-based development systems and tools. Script programming skill is a plus. Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
