Your skills will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality packaging solutions to customers worldwide.  Schedule:   Day Shift; 6:45pm-7am Compensation & Benefits: Value, Recognized   We reward great work with:  Pay: $31-$34+/hour (based on experience) + $1.50/hour night shift premium  Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week  401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8%  Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one   Paid time off and holidays   Growth and development opportunities   Job Description: Possibility Unpacked   What you’ll do:  Identify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and simple electrical problems on plant facilities and production equipment.  Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and documents maintenance concerns/resolutions in an electronic database; providing action plans and status reports as needed.  Responds to emergency requests for repairs/replacements, including fire system malfunctions which may be reported during off-hours.  Ensures that all work performed meets required codes (OSHA, City and Federal) and is in accordance with plant policies and procedures.  Perform machine shop work operating various machines such as drill presses, grinders, MIG/TIG/stick welders, plasma torches, cutting equipment (i.e. chop saw), pneumatic tools and electric/manual hand tools  Performs welding fabrication (both stick and gas) in various locations and positions including pipe and structural on various metals for new and existing equipment.  Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials and work area.  Responsible for providing coverage in the absence of other Maintenance Technicians.  Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves and aprons.  Other duties as assigned by management.  What We Want From You: Lead the Pack   Preferred qualifications:  High level of experience and proficiency in the function, mechanics, and operation of all Maintenance equipment  Computer and Software knowledge  Able to work well with others / self motivated  Strong mechanical skills Strong Attendance and Safety Record  Be able to work both independently and in a team environment, completing objectives efficiently with a sense of responsibility.  Be able to safely complete the physical tasks associated with the essential job functions.
