Key Responsibilities
Support implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) processes across assigned production units. Monitor and ensure compliance with Levi Strauss & Co. quality standards, QMP guidelines, and PER processes. Act as a technical resource for identifying and resolving quality issues at the production floor. Ensure timely execution of quality checks across all key checkpoints. Collaborate closely with Product Development (PD), Finishing, Raw Materials (RM), and factory teams to embed quality early in the product lifecycle. Conduct line audits, risk assessments, and product evaluations. Support Quality Management Plan (QMP) 2.0 implementation and DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) reduction initiatives. Provide hands-on guidance to QA staff and factory teams to enhance inspection effectiveness and process control. Review inspection data and identify trends to recommend corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvements. Liaise with CSC (Customer Service Center) auditors and help factories understand and close audit failures. Support supplier capability-building and development through regular engagement and follow-ups. Prepare reports and metrics on audit results, defect rates, safety failures, and other KPIs for internal review. Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline. Job Requirements:
Experience
Minimum 7 years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in the garments & textile industry Areas of Experience: Apparel Quality Assurance / Quality Control Production in sewing, cutting, finishing, knitting or weaving Experience working with international buyers/brands preferred Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of garment construction and inspection techniques Familiarity with AQL, DHU analysis, 5S, and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone) Ability to train, coach, and monitor factory quality teams Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Comfortable with data analysis, reporting, and documentation Working knowledge of product safety, compliance, and global audit standards KPI Targets to Support: ≤ 3% Defective Units at CSC ≥ 90% Final Field Audit Pass Rate Zero product safety failures ≤ 1% Global Market Returns Timely and effective start-up execution LOCATION The Glass House, Level-5, Plot SE(B) 2, 38 Gulshan Avenue Dhaka- 1212 Bangladesh FULL TIME/PART TIME Full time Current LS&Co Employees, apply via your Workday account.
