We’re looking for a Counsel, Regulatory to join Snap’s Privacy and Product Legal team! You’ll be joining a team responsible for global platform laws, AI, privacy and product counselling.  What You’ll Do: Advise on global platform laws and regulations with a particular focus on the Digital Services Act and the Online Safety Act  Build relationships with regulators and other regulatory stakeholders  Manage Requests for Information and support on regulatory investigations including coordinating with internal colleagues and managing outside counsel  Analyse and advise on legal and regulatory requirements for new products, services and technologies Work with legal and business colleagues to develop global regulatory compliance and go to market strategies Partner with Policy and Comms on consultations, draft legislation and communication strategies  Help scale the legal organization by developing technology-first processes, including through the use of AI Conduct trainings for engineers and other teams across the company  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Significant experience advising on online safety and digital regulation in Europe Deep understanding of the European digital regulatory landscape, including platform regulation and privacy law Strong understanding of the European digital legal landscape   Experience in advising on key European digital legislation, including the Digital Services Act (DSA) and Online Safety Act  Detail-oriented, business-minded, and highly collaborative, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines Excellent legal and business judgement, with the ability to think strategically and creatively Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and regulatory issues to a broad range of stakeholders Experience partnering closely with engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams Comfortable navigating emerging areas of law and technology in a fast-evolving regulatory environment Minimum Qualifications UK or EU legal qualification or foreign equivalent 4+ years of experience practicing law (includes training years) Strong understanding of laws relating to digital platforms  Preferred Qualifications In-house experience counseling clients on safety, privacy and technology and platform-related matters (this could be via a secondment) Experience supporting the business in building positive relationships with regulators to achieve business goals and minimize risk Experience coordinating across different jurisdictions and developing company-wide strategies for compliance, taking into account diverse jurisdictions and requirements Strong
