C13: Vice President, Application Development Lead, Global Reconciliation Utility (GRU) Lead a Pivotal Technology Function at the Core of Citi's Global Data Strategy The Global Reconciliation Utility (GRU) is the definitive technology partner for all Institutional Data Reconciliation across Citigroup. We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join as a Vice President, Application Development Lead. This is a senior role responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and management of a team dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of Citi's critical data assets. In this leadership capacity, you will steer a team of seasoned developers, guiding the end-to-end lifecycle of our reconciliation systems. You will be the primary technology owner, responsible for architectural decisions, solution design, and ensuring the timely delivery of complex projects. This role demands a strategic mindset, the ability to engage in high-level conversations with senior business and technology stakeholders, and the acumen to navigate and resolve complex, high-pressure scenarios. You will be expected to lead your team in interpreting business requirements, architecting scalable solutions within our proprietary toolset, and overseeing deployments. Your leadership will be crucial in mentoring the team, managing L3 escalations, and fostering a solution-driven culture that emphasizes accountability and timely execution. Team Leadership & Management:  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of application developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Strategic Solutioning:  Architect and deliver scalable, robust, and efficient reconciliation solutions. Drive a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate future needs and challenges. Senior Stakeholder Engagement:  Act as the primary technology liaison for senior business leaders and technology partners. Confidently lead discussions, articulate complex technical concepts, and manage expectations. Conflict Resolution & Diplomacy:  Skillfully navigate and diffuse difficult situations with stakeholders, partners, and team members, ensuring positive outcomes and maintaining strong relationships. Global Collaboration:  Champion and facilitate seamless collaboration across globally distributed teams and different time zones, ensuring alignment and cohesive execution. Operational Excellence:  Oversee the team's management of the JIRA backlog and SNOW incidents, ensuring all regulatory commitments, project deliverables, and service level agreements are met. Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in application development, data management, or a related technology field, preferably within the financial services industry. Leadership:  Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing technical teams. Communication & Influence:  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with senior stakeholders. Problem-Solving:  A strong, solution-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, devise strategic solutions, and lead their implementation. Agile Project Management:  Proficiency in using Jira for tracking tasks, managing backlogs, and participating in sprint cycles. IT Service Management:  Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident and ticket management is highly desirable. Technical Expertise: SQL Proficiency:  Ability to write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries; Expertise in data validation, joins, aggregations, and filtering logic. ETL and Data Pipelines:  Deep knowledge of ETL tools and processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading; Familiarity with data flow and pipeline troubleshooting. Job
