FanDuel is looking for a Compensation Senior Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in helping to support the business by assisting in planning, designing, implementing and communicating compensation policies and practices aimed at enabling FanDuel to bring in the best talent to drive great business performance. You will be able to leverage your curiosity to analyze data and come up with creative solutions to set the foundation and support our complex growing business.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN Everyone on our team has a part to play
• Participate in compensation surveys by collecting compensation data and then lead analysis of compensation survey results to ensure competitiveness of our current pay versus the market data.
• Support annual Compensation Cycles – Merit, Bonus, and Long Term Incentive (equity) compensation processes by assisting in population verification, working with HR and managers to ensure performance ratings completion and analysis of distribution and year-end spend/budgeting.
• Aid in the development of compensation program communications to management and employees, including annual and quarterly compensation programs (including ad hoc bonuses and equity programs).
• Collaborate closely with Compensation Partners, HR Managers, and Talent Acquisition on employee matters (such as internal equity analysis and new hire offers)
• Review existing and proposed statutory requirements that govern compensation administration to ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations (SOX and beyond)
• Conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for appropriateness and confirmation of FLSA and other job classifications.
• Lead various compensation related projects on an as needed basis.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis needed for special studies, legal, and leadership requests.
• Help mentor and guide less experienced Compensation Analysts
THE STATS What we're looking for in our next teammate
• Minimum of 4 years’ of experience in compensation preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and auditing (SOX compliance requirements)
• Exposure to data analysis programming languages (SQL, Python, VBA, Tableau, etc.) preferred
• Workday and HRIS system configuration experience strongly preferred
• Exposure to and curiosity for Artificial Intelligence tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot, etc.)
• Results oriented with natural curiosity to solve-problems and come up with actionable solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
• Continuous improvement focus. Ability to deconstruct a process, identify opportunities to improve or augment, and implement changes, specifically using Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical bent
• Ability to consolidate and work with large volumes of data
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• CCP course completion or similar certification preferred
• Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred
