Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK . The selected candidate will coordinate and administer configuration management activities related to planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and verification and audit.

Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinate modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Support program configuration and data management requirements. Must have a Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master’s Degree and at least 3 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 1 year of relevant military / professional / academic experience, OR a High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) with 9 years of relevant military / professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Must have the ability to obtain a US Government Secret or higher clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. Must have experience with data involving SETR events (i.e., SRR, PDR, CDR).

Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance Secret (or higher) Knowledge of EIA-649 or MIL-HDBK-61A Experience reviewing engineering documentation Ability to apply principles of a Configuration Management Plan (CMP) Experience or knowledge of maintaining a bill of material (BOM) between PLM and ERP systems Knowledge of product baselines and configuration status accounting Experience working in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
