Summary of Role: As a Consultant in our dynamic team, you will be the cornerstone of client interactions, fostering and deepening relationships with both clients and carrier representatives daily. You'll be the key contact for clients, handling and enhancing our relationships, diving into researching and advising on various benefit plans, and taking a leading role as an advisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert on Health & Welfare benefits, developing strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendor partners. Anticipate client needs, recommend solutions, communicate industry trends and regulatory updates, and provide guidance on benefits compliance topics including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, and Health Care Reform. Lead the renewal and marketing process by reviewing RFPs, analyzing plan designs, negotiating terms, coverage, and pricing with carriers, recommending renewal strategies, overseeing new business implementations, and articulating alternative funding approaches. Maintain strong carrier relationships to stay informed of market offerings and recommend appropriate solutions to clients. Partner with leadership to develop and execute client strategy plans, manage project timelines and deliverables, coordinate open enrollment activities, review employee communications and presentations, conduct annual compliance audits, and ensure client data is accurately maintained in Salesforce. Demonstrate a strong understanding of client financials, funding strategies, and benefit plan administration, including interpreting plan documents and SPDs to ensure compliance and accurate plan management. Provide leadership within the service team by delegating work, overseeing deliverables, reviewing Account Manager work product, and offering informal coaching and mentorship to support team development and service excellence. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products and services Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs Effective time management and decision making skills Diligent follow-up skills Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities Education and/or Experience: BA/BS preferred Typically more than 5 years industry and product line experience. 4+ years of health and welfare consulting experience required. Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required. GBA or CEBS Certification a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $84,295 – $134,895. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and
