Job Description
What You’ll Do Lead global, multi-site data center/private cloud implementations, managing distributed teams across regions/time zones (compute, storage, network, security, facilities, and operations). Own the integrated program plan and execution playbooks (site readiness, build, migration waves, cutover, rollback, and hypercare) and manage dependencies/critical path. Run program governance: scope, schedule, budget, change control, RAID, and executive reporting; drive decisions and milestone accountability. Own customer/stakeholder engagement, including status cadence, expectation management, and go/no-go readiness for migrations and go-lives. Partner with engineers/architects to validate designs and lead implementation, testing, and go-live across servers, storage, networking, and security. Lead data center exit/consolidation and cloud migrations, including discovery/dependency mapping, migration strategy, cutover, decommissioning, and CMDB/asset updates. Standardize delivery templates/metrics, capture lessons learned, and continuously improve execution across regions. What You Need to Bring Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years leading global infrastructure programs across data centers and/or private cloud implementations. Hands-on experience across compute/servers, enterprise storage, and networking delivery. PMP (PMI) certification required; ITIL/Agile certifications are a plus. Experience delivering data center exit and cloud migration/transformation programs across geographies. Strong customer management and executive communication skills. Must have proven experience working effectively with globally distributed teams Knowledge and Skills Data center delivery expertise (site readiness, rack/stack/cable, provisioning, integration). Migration/cutover leadership (wave planning, runbooks, change windows, rollback, hypercare). Strong program management: IMS, RAID, financials, resourcing, and dependency management. Ability to coordinate cross-domain teams and vendors (compute, storage, network, security, operations). Working knowledge of private cloud/virtualization operating models and service readiness. Excellent communication and stakeholder management; executive-ready status and decision facilitation. Proficiency with program tools (MS Project/Smartsheet), issue tracking (Jira), and documentation (Confluence/SharePoint). Willingness to travel globally up to 20% to support customer sites and key implementation milestones.
