This Senior Manager - Solution Engineering team will be tasked to lead Engineers that are creating a best-in-class member experience focused on identifying, prioritizing, shaping, complex enterprise initiatives in partnership with Specialty Pharmacy Engineering Team. This position will collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions. In this role you are expected to carry a passion for staying on top of tech trends, learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities and mentoring other members of the engineering community. A firm understanding of development principles, agile methodologies and knowledge of pharmacy processing is crucial for success in the role. You should have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, collaborative individual; motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. This role has significant relationships with business stakeholders (Strategy, Operations, Pharmacy, and other Teams) as well as functional teams (Product Managers, Architects, Design etc.) driving results in a matrixed environment.

This role works with and lead a top-notch organization of solution engineer who identify, design and deliver technology solutions using Angular, SpringBoot, NodeJS Blocks/GraphQL frameworks, Native to achieve the defined business value  You will have the ability to manage large projects and collaborate with multiple partners, including the different departments across CVS Health. We ask that you have executive presence, presentation delivery skills, and the ability to connect with diverse teams and levels of senior leaders Technical Oversight:  Technical leader capable of designing and overseeing the build-out and operations of complex distributed systems at scale in a fast-paced digital organization  Engineering Leadership:  Able to technically direct, support, and evaluate the value, ensuring we are building best-in-class solutions that can scale to meet our future needs Talent Management:  Recruit, manage, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team while contributing to a positive and supportive culture, encouraging innovation, and driving a pragmatic balance of continuous improvement and effective value delivery System Performance:  Monitor and optimize both team & system performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.  Establish KPIs and OKRs that unlock quantitative insight so we can change processes with confidence End-to-end Ownership:  Lead a team from strategy through delivery in complex and highly visible engineering projects Prioritization and Pivots:  Guides team’s work prioritization in alignment with our strategic objectives. Coach/guide engineers through pivoting as needed while remaining steadfastly focused on the overall objective
