AECOM is looking for a Design Manager who can bring their technical expertise to a range of significant projects. You will guide and oversee technical delivery, forming close working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and clients – such as Wessex Water, South West Water, Welsh Water, and Thames Water. We’re at the forefront of innovation, delivering an exceptional portfolio of programmes and projects. From potable water and sewage networks to treatment works of all scales, you will drive the technical heart of our partnerships. Here’s what you’ll do: You will bridge the gap between bold strategy and technical reality. Lead: Drive the multi-disciplinary technical delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure and treatment projects through the design lifecycle from feasibility to asset management. Collaborate: Work closely with our most valued clients to understand their needs, collaborate with contractors and stakeholders, and guide colleagues to develop exceptional technical solutions. Manage: Oversee key packages of work from conception to handover, interfacing with AECOM teams, clients, suppliers and contractors to create a seamless technical solution. Guide: Act as the primary technical interface for our valued clients and contractor partners.
