General Job Description The Scrum Master will be responsible for coordinating efforts on various projects being worked by in the team. The candidate will be required to develop good knowledge of the projects and their objectives. The candidate will be required to develop/maintain JIRA/Azure DevOps board, ensure all stories are in the backlog, evaluate and assign stories to colleagues, create sprints, work on Sprint planning, retrospective and review and ensure proper closure. At the end of the sprint/project would require reporting on all activities. Must have experience in stakeholder management, Risk Management and Communication Management.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. Guide and coach the team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to clients. Works with team, internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project teams Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective Monitor progress and highlight any issues Perform Capacity Planning for the Team Ensure Quality controls are in place and report any discrepancies Carry out regular audits on project work and provide necessary feedback Skill Set Knowledge of an agile frameworks ( Scrum, Kanban, XP etc) Knowledge of Project Management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project Good knowledge on Project Management principles, PMI standards Good communication, facilitation and coaching skills Adept at backlog refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospective, and other Agile Ceremonies Planning and problem solving skills with product management and delivery teams Pre-Requisite Bachelors degree preferably a technical degree like B.Tech., BCA etc. 3 - 4 years hands-on experience in project management and Scrum techniques Must have used Azure DevOps in the previous role/s Scrum certifications Like CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, PMP will be highly desirable Working Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Bower BI will be of great advantage HOW WE SUPPORT OUR COLLEAGUES In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we are proud to be an equal opportunity workforce.
