The Space Modeling Layout Manager needs to lead Layout planners to develop space and transfer optimization strategies for fab expansion, technology migration, and future intelligent fab development. Drive best-in-class space utilization, transfer efficiency, and cost-effective solutions through modeling, simulation, and data-driven decision making. AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicable to support Micron’s AI transformation and ensures roles are aligned to our future workforce needs. Key Job: Lead and develop the Space Modeling team. Develop long-term Fab and office space strategies and AI-enabled planning systems, to support future fab development, expansion flexibility, and transfer optimization. Drive Fab space efficiency, transfer efficiency, and Bits per Square (BPS) improvement through BKM, data-driven analysis and cost-effective solutions. Enhance transfer simulation models to support business planning and scenario analysis. Co-lead development and deployment of Global COE (Cross Optimization Engine) solutions across Micron sites. Collaborate with IE Planning, Manufacturing, Facility, AMHS, HVM, and SMAI teams to identify constraints and improve planning effectiveness, forecast accuracy, and simulation model fidelity. Simulate and develop future-state intelligent fab designs to enable scalable, flexible, and cost-effective expansion. Lead office space planning to support employee engagement, collaboration, workplace experience, and culture development. Lead office expansion and remodeling projects, ensuring alignment with business growth, operational requirements, and workplace strategies. About Micron Technology, Inc.
